Update 10/22/2025: Since this was last published a few years ago, part one of the film adaptation of Wicked was released with part two coming out next month. Because the film goes into more detail in the backstory behind Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, I noticed more similarities between her and the Scarlet Witch. Therefore, I thought it would be fitting to go back to this post and include the updates I found. As you can tell, any update points will be in green text, a
